RFO in SOHO

On Friday 9th June we played at Feel Jazz Club in the centre of Malaga.Joining us for her first RFO gig was Klara on Flute and Melodica.
We played the first set as a quartet (see above) and in the secong set we were joined by Diego and Maricarmen.
We managed to film all of the first set and some of the second before the camera ran out and also recorded the whole gig on my Tascam 4 track.
Hopefully we will be returning to Feel Jazz Club in late september.

RFO gig in Malaga

The Riogordo Freedom Orchestra will be playing at Feel Jazz Club in Calle Vendeja 25 on the 8th of June at 9pm.

Two sides of the Riogordo Freedom Orchestra

A last minute addition to the RFO Box set made up of two tracks from two gigs recorded a year apart.
The first track ´Non-Stop ´was recorded at Casa Invisible in September 2010 as part of the  Improv festival and features what would later become the first RFO line up (Knispel/Piñero/Denis/Lawson) along with Markus Bruess on Trumpet.The audio quality is not great..it was recorded on an old mini disc machine but it has plenty of energy.
The second track ´The Purple Void´was recorded at Hotel Cerro de Jaula in Benamocarra on the 22nd July 2011 with the later line up of:
